ABOUT
Patrick Palmer’s practice primarily focuses on handling employment and commercial litigation matters. Patrick is also a mediator certified by the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution at South Texas College of Law Houston. Prior to joining Scott Patton PC, Patrick practiced at a boutique litigation firm, where he handled a variety of matters concerning intellectual property, collections, and general commercial litigation cases.
Represented large Houston-area hospital system in single-plaintiff discrimination and retaliation suits under Title VII, ADA, ADEA and the TCHRA.
Counseled Fortune 200 midstream oil & gas company in discrimination and constructive discharge matter under the TCHRA.
Defended Fortune 500 midstream energy infrastructure corporation on appeal before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Received order of dismissal in favor of client on all claims alleging violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Defended real estate investment education firm against copyright and trademark infringement claims.
Counseled national healthcare corporate client on employment matters; implemented novel COVID-19 vaccine policy.
