ABOUT

Patrick Palmer’s practice primarily focuses on handling employment and commercial litigation matters. Patrick is also a mediator certified by the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution at South Texas College of Law Houston. Prior to joining Scott Patton PC, Patrick practiced at a boutique litigation firm, where he handled a variety of matters concerning intellectual property, collections, and general commercial litigation cases.

  • Represented large Houston-area hospital system in single-plaintiff discrimination and retaliation suits under Title VII, ADA, ADEA and the TCHRA.

  • Counseled Fortune 200 midstream oil & gas company in discrimination and constructive discharge matter under the TCHRA.

  • Defended Fortune 500 midstream energy infrastructure corporation on appeal before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

  • Received order of dismissal in favor of client on all claims alleging violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

  • Defended real estate investment education firm against copyright and trademark infringement claims.

  • Counseled national healthcare corporate client on employment matters; implemented novel COVID-19 vaccine policy.
